Background Checks Required
Background Checks Required
Volunteers are required by state law to submit to a criminal background check prior to volunteering at school or attending field trips.
Checks must be updated every five years or as deemed necessary by the school. Please complete the Background Check Form and submit $10 per background check payable to SOMS. You can drop it off in the front office to be processed.
Confidentiality Training is also required of all volunteers and will be offered as needed throughout the school year. If you have not completed this training, let the office staff or PTO Officer know when you arrive to volunteer. It's quick and only takes a few minutes to complete.
